Heading for Iceland, Greenland and the ice!

ABOUT ME

Conciderate and respectful, easy to laugh and share stories. Big into nature, long time musician and videographer. Have made some local documentaries (will screen for you if interested) Ive been to film school, and Art School and now work at Otago University videoing lectures and do the occasional sound art installation and performance. Have traveled a lot in the South Island and know my region quite well. Happy to provide information. I can introduce you to some great Dunedin and New Zealand music also, I have been a DJ and music producer as well as played in original music bands... I have spent alot of time in the wilderness of New Zealand, what we call "tramping" and what the rest of the world calls hiking/trekking...

PHILOSOPHY

Bit Buddhist, bit Theosophist, bit anarchist, bit hedonist, bit ascetic, bit Osho, bit Christian a bit Castenada and a bit agnostic, very scientific.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Philip K Dick, Greg Egan, Carlos Castenada and many great travel and adventure writers.

Music: Like the Psy-Trance, and dance music, Industrial and Dunedin music, usually alot of stuff that most people havnt heard of...

Film: I watch alot of films especially non-american films, and collect rare 1980's budget sci fi on VHS

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed under a glacier and lept over its crevasses all with a beer in one hand, played a gig with the band Faith No More, hired a church and filled it with hand made noise generators and data projectors, rode through India on a motor scooter, crash started a Valiant Ranger on Baldwin St, melted a rubiks cube in the oven

Teach, Learn, Share

Can provide an insight into Dunedins musical heritage and some alternative arts events when they are on. I have a body of my my own films and music to share also. I have a few tall tales to tell... Some skill with computers and video cameras... will be carrying alot of Dunedin, New Zealand music to share while traveling

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany, Greenland, Iceland, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Netherlands, Switzerland, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
