Sorry, but we now have surfers staying through until the end of June, so our couch is not available until the 7 July.
We like to socialize and meet people, explore new things.Many interests, outdoors, music both classical and contemporary. Member of the Hobart Blues club.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We offer a room with a double bed, and use of the facilities in our home. If we are free we might show you around Hobart or further afield if you want, or maybe you just want to do your own thing. Please take us you find us - we may have work or other commitments - and we'll do the same for you. In any case we'll be pleased to meet you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Three surfer experiences so far as host. We met some really nice people.

Like movies but not so much the hollywood blockbuster type. More into european and Australian films. Recently saw The Kings Speach and loved it.
Sometimes go to the Tas Symphony Orchestra concerts, Hobart Blues Club every month, other live music around Hobart.
Love Cormac McCarthy, Haruki Murakami, also Wallace Stevens and many 20th C poets. WE read a fair bit and like much contemporary fiction as well as the classics.
