About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world, meet more people, learn Chinese

ABOUT ME

I've been in China for almost 4 years now, with some intermittent wandering around Asia. I'm quiet but very friendly, and always eager to try new things. People always tell me I'm the opposite of the American stereotype, but living in China for so long has taught me that I am in fact very American in some ways.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and surfed with several amazing people and I hope I will have the opportunity to host again soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I was traveling in Yunnan, China with a friend, we were hosted by the most generous person I have ever met. He had 3 sections of his remarkable, traditional style Chinese house available for CSers, and he shared with us food, company and advice in addition to providing a room. I also met several other almost as awesome people who were simultaneously staying with him.
