My name is Peter. I am a 20 year old student from Poland. I grew up and live in the Silesian Voivodeship, in the beautiful city of Rybnik.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and exploring new places, tasting delicious food and feeling the atmosphere of different parts of the world. It's not only about visiting new places, but mainly about meeting interesting people - maybe it is YOU who will make me believe that we can still rely on each other and simply enjoy life tohether :)
My biggest dream is to visit other continents, but there are also many places in Europe I haven't been to yet - and I think it would be perfect to have an opportunity to make some new friends there, to whom I could offer some information and guidance about Poland as well :)

Intereses

I am currently studying at the University of Silesia - translation studies (English, German, Norwegian). I am also a passionate singer and performer. I like when there are many things happening around me. I took part in many cultural exchange projects as a singer, interpreter and speaker. I've worked in the school radio, and even had a chance to record some covers of well known artists like Adele or Michael Buble. I'm singing in a vocal band and a choir as well. I love music!
I also take part in one project in Rybnik - AIP - it is work connected with business, helping beginning businessmen and businesswomen to start their own companies, also organising various events, etc.

This is too much to mention here, but mainly jazz music: Madeleine Peyroux, Norah Jones, Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Urszula Dudziak, Ewa Bem and many others (also other genres).

Algo increíble que he hecho

Recording some of my songs, taking part in a radio team at school (we won a nationwide competition and went to work in a real studio - exciting!), taking part in cultural exchanges with people from various countries - including Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, the UK, Norway...
I am now beginning some new projects - I want to record new songs, show some of the jazz style in them, and also start a student research circle with my friend, in the field of comparative linguistics.
