I have a little homestead in Vermont where I'm doing all kinds of fun projects - growing mushrooms, planting fruit and nut trees, renovating an old slaughterhouse, building things. Now I'm going crazy for foraging. Before I got into all this I lived in South America, San Francisco, Boulder. I used to make software, glad to be through with that. I also worked at a dance school in Colombia for a couple years. Well I love my little mountain spot in Vermont but I am a touch isolated so here's to getting out once in a while.

I was surfing couches back in the early oughts but alas I deleted that profile some years ago and now I've come back to see what's up. I think my first surf was in Argentina and oh what a memorable time, so many years ago, beautiful people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The other day I cut down a big dead tree. Wham! And a couple days after that I had the door open, and a wee little chickadee flew into the house. I caught it and took it outdoors. It's a real joy to hold a bird in your hand
