Overview
About Me
I am a journalist, who has been fortunate to travel all over the world - at last count I have been to 71 different countries (give or take a few). I much prefer to stay with locals as it gives me a totally different (and real) impression of wherever I am and I get to met interesting people that way (which hopefully works both ways).
Please, if you contact me, asking me to host you, and for whatever reason I can't and I reply that I can't, have the good manners to send me a quick acknowledgement of my response, even if it is negative. I would never consider hosting somebody who asks me a second time if they have not even bothered to respond to a first request (even if it was turned down).
