Why am I on Couchsurfing? For me, it’s about more than just finding a free place to stay it’s about the connections, experiences, and stories that come with it. It’s a chance to break out of the tourist bubble and discover hidden gems that only insiders know about. Whether I’m hosting or surfing, it’s about creating meaningful moments and embracing the beauty of human connection.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve had was trekking to the summit of Mount Kenya, the second-highest peak in Africa. Waking up at 2 a.m. to hike under a sky full of stars, reaching Point Lenana at sunrise, and watching the golden light spill over the glaciers and valleys below was absolutely magical. It was a challenging journey, but it taught me the power of perseverance and the beauty of Kenya’s diverse landscapes. Standing at the top, I felt a deep connection to nature and a sense of accomplishment that I’ll carry with me forever.
