I heard about Couchsurfing from a friend of mine and my first reaction was "Yeah right... No way" , because of my "traditional outlook" on life back then .... Luckily that was before my own lifechanging soulsearching confrontation/reflection/midlife grrrrrr period ... after that phase of my life I found my ownself, being honest about who I am and how I want to live my life & Couchsurfing certainly fitted in it as I just simply love meeting people :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is the best way for me to get in contact with people from the Global Village as I traded Amsterdam for rural Holland 14 years ago ... I miss people of colour, colourful cultures and different outlooks on life.
