My name is Peter and i from Slovakia, small country in central Europe.

I am open minded person, who love to have fun, enjoy discussions on various topics and is naturally curious. I love to travel as it opens new horizons, mainly be meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I am after traveller rather than tourist experiences. Everywhere i go i carry my camera with me as photography is my passion.

Found out about couchsourfing just recently and consider it as a perfect way how to meet travellers and similarly minded people from different parts of the world, share experiences and inspirative stories.

In January 2018 i quit my office job and left Slovakia to spent 1 year in New Zealand, working, travelling the country and exploring its nature beauties. Left my homeland beginning of February, spend 2 months volunteering on North Island, after that tried some orchard work there. Winter and beginning of spring i spent in Christchurch, biggest city of South Island, where i mainly worked for local research institute on a fixed term contract as a part of its finance team. Left Christchurch end of October to spend my remaining time in country exploring beauties of South Island - short walks, multi day hikes, camping, staying in mountain huts, meeting other travellers, lot of photography ... all involved

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While spending 1 year in New Zealand i´ve done skydiving, horseriding and sharkdiving for the very first time in my life within few days just to make "first time" experience even more intense...and it was awesome

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, experiences from my travels, photography knowledge...and usually i also carry with me something from my last destination as well as from my homeland...and i can cook "gulas" for you :)
