I'm currently a grad student and about to become a teacher. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy grabbing a drink, listening to live music, catching interesting movies, reading and hanging with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never tried couch-surfing but I love the concept. As soon as I get the time to travel and explore another place I'm giving it a shot. I love to meet new and fascinating people as well as get the local vibe.

As for hosting, I have much the same reasons, I would love to hear great stories and meet new people that bring something interesting to the table.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once maintained the longest continuous American peaceful protest for about 5 minutes. The guy who was mostly there had to go to the bathroom. I played a small but crucial role. If someone were to leave the site (behind the White House) the park police would have shut it down.
