Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So when I travel somewhere, rather than be alone or try and use guide books / internet to find out what to do hope that a local will help me.
Or if others are not able to meet up or offer a couch, to help me finding a place to stay that isn't perhaps a hotel.
Would love to have people stay with me and show my city to, that said, I'm living in kind of quiet town atm )) 2hrs fro Sydney
I love to learn languages as well, And culture... I think i've lived (2 weeks - years) in something like about 85 cities/towns now.
