Hey guys what's up! My name's Peter~ A little about myself, I was born in Texas and lived there for 15 years, moved to LA, California and have lived here for 5 years now. I currently attend University where I major in International Studies. The reason I'm majoring in it is because of my passionate interest in learning about people. That is, their culture, ways of life, and everything in between. There's a lot more to say about why and how but if you wanna hear the rest probably best to do it in real life : p

As for trips in the US, I've been to about 20 states (Colorado, Washington, Oregon and mannny more) But a lot of these states I went to when I was a kid, so I only remember some stuff. But outside of the US... I have been to Iran, Taiwan, Korea, Japan amongst others. I remember all these trips veryyy well and have all kinds of stories from them too

Also I loveeee languages. English and Persian are my native language, and I'm able to speak in Japanese and Spanish. Whenever I get the opportunity I try speaking Japanese, Spanish, etc. at work, outside, or with my friends. I've had friends and others half jokingly half serious call me a "Polyglot" but I'm no Polyglot though. Not even close, maybe one day!

I love to talk. Seriously engaging in just human interaction is what brings me joy. I would gladly put down my phone to talk to someone over scrolling through Instagram. I genuinely like to get to know people for who they are and all that fun stuff. Totally down to have conversations about anything at all.. plants, why the Earth is flat(I don't actually think that lol) and everything!!

Almost forgot, totally love football(soccer) I'm an American that calls it football, strange I know...

All in all, just a chill young guy who likes to have fun and take things easy :D

To talk about my major again... I would love the opportunity to experience the backgrounds/cultures of people all across the world so that I may learn from you and from the stories you have to share of your own country and the travels you've been on. Whether that be hearing about it when abroad or when you're here in my home in Los Angeles. If you're ever in LA, I'm able to take people around and show them various spots that are rather famous. LACMA, Griffith Observatory, and other famous places. But if you like more local places, I also know different things to do and see :) Why I'm on Couchsurfing really is just to meet people, meet people to share laughs with, memories with, and beers if you like drinking.
