I live in Munich where I work as a research and teaching assistant in business administration (just for the unlikely case that anybody is interested, it is about management compensation and performance measurement). Though this is not as boring as it may sound, travelling is still a little more exciting - that's why I take every opportunity to travel the world, with a preference for Eastern Europe, Near East and Central Asia, but meanwhile I have realized that besides "East" there are other compass directions. Sometimes people claim that I tend to make too short trips, however, better short than not at all, yes? And besides I have seen a number of countries, I visited many of them quite often - more than twenty times in case of my favorite. Who manages to guess the correct one may apply for a free beer in Munich ;).

Things that I like about travelling and that motivate me: Hospitality, amazing landscapes, exciting cultures and scurrilities of daily life that you find while travelling. Things that I dislike about travelling: Complciated visa policies, all requirements to plan in advance (I really prefer being spontanteous), oh, and malaria mosquitos (Yes, that's really a paranoia)

Anything else? Well, often I am quite restless, doing nothing is hard for me, but I am working on it.

Movies - I simply don't know...I watch them, like them, hate them, laugh about them, but in every case I forget them soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm..maybe not amazing but definitely weird, together with a friend I visited all 16 Federal States of Germany in a day by train. It would be easy without the Saarland, Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern :)
