About Me

I was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1993 but raised in an international manner. Since my family always had a rather international mindset, I went to the Austrian School in Budapest to learn foreign languages. As a child I always had a crush on technical stuff. I wanted to know how things work from a very young age, therefore after graduating from high school I started my studies at the Technical University of Vienna to become an electrical engineer. I always refer to electricity as the point of intersection between the people and technology. Development never stops and we live in a wonderful time of new technologies. In a time where science could be the answer and the solution for many issues.

After being an enthusiastic rock climber and long distance swimmer I admire and respect nature. As a future engineer I wish to specialize on renewable energy in order to reduce burning fossil fuels and recreate the balance between the consuming world and nature. This could also be my linkdin bio, haha!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm on the road now, my #1 objective is to meet people to share the adventures with. There has always been a deep desire in me to see as much of the world as possible: how do other people think, how do they live, what do they eat, what do they wear, how do they spend their spare time, their traditions. I welcome any companion, so that we can explore together.

So I try to imagine a picture in my head about this kind of traveling and I would like to live the whole experience. Really live it. Getting to know the authentic side of a country and its culture is the sole definition of travel for me. And how could it be more authentic than staying with someone who lives there? And what if this someone becomes your friend along the journey? Isn't it wonderful?
