Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Make friends while traveling and to save a pretty penny :)

I joined couch surfing in 2019 and met a few people from meetups.

Usually I just got my own accommodation.

When the site had problems during covid I stopped using it. Now in 2025 I've decided to pay the 5 bucks and see how its doing in the present year.

It seems to be doing good!

In March of 2025 I have stayed with a few hosts and have had good experiences.

I feel like its easy to bond and establish a deeper connection while couchsurfing. Maybe its due to the financial incentive, maybe its being temporary "roommates", but its a much deeper connection than just walking around with someone for a day.

I will try to maintain friendships with everyone who has hosted me, maybe just a weekly or monthly text via whatsapp.
