Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Peter — originally from China, currently building an international life across Hong Kong, Australia, and wherever my next journey takes me. I love meeting people from different backgrounds, sharing stories, and understanding how others see the world.
I’m open-minded, curious, respectful, and always eager to learn something new. I enjoy running, climbing, cooking simple but healthy meals, exploring cities on foot, and having long conversations about culture, global mobility, technology, and life choices.
People say I’m easygoing, thoughtful, and independent — someone who adapts quickly and enjoys both quiet moments and deep talks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing to connect with real people, not just check tourist spots. I believe travel is about exchanging perspectives, sharing kindness, and experiencing a city the way locals live it.
I’d love to meet hosts who enjoy cultural exchange, meaningful conversation, and maybe showing me the hidden gems of their city. I’m also happy to host or help travelers in the future as I continue my international path.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: American pop, acoustic, chill electronic, movie soundtracks.
Movies: Inception, Interstellar, The Social Network, and good documentaries.
Books: Sapiens, Atomic Habits, travel writing, tech/culture books, and anything that helps me understand the world better.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left my comfort zone, moved abroad alone, and started building a global life step by step — studying, working, and exploring new cultures. It wasn’t easy, but it completely changed my worldview and made me more confident, independent, and open-minded.
I finished 10 km running race at Hong Kong Standard Chartered Marathon on Feb, 2023.
