About Me

****Due to work, I can't accommodate guests who request dates with less than a week's notice.

Locally owned and operated since 1984, Peter Bierma works in commercial production at a local radio group in Twin Falls, ID. Serving all your locally owned and operated couch needs since 2015, Peter provides a full line of locally owned and operated couches, couch cushions, couch pillows, and couch colors (only beige in stock right now, OAC). Come by our locally owned and operated location in Twin Falls, ID, and watch all your dreams come true. Vote for Pedro.

I do voice acting at night so I work a lot of hours. Lately I don't really cook, but if you crash my couch and consider pizza delivery a sign of hospitality, I am probably the best that I know of.

Beards, they grow on you.

I have two thinks-they-are-humans named George and Molly. Since my place is a 2 bedroom, and one of those is a (friggin awesome) vocal booth, I have room for 2 guests, one on the couch and one on an air mattress, just FYI!

If you are like me and have friends who don't know where Idaho is, we at the radio station made this helpful walkthrough:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Road trip 2015! If anyone wants to crash my couch, you are more than welcome, though space is limited. Any more than 2 guests and one will probably have to lay directly on me. If you're into that sort of thing, I will do my best to bathe, but no guarantees.

Interests

Coffee, hiking with the pups, Game Grumps, my coworkers, root beer floats, delicious fruity drinks, waterfalls, frisbee which I am terrible at but still enjoy, local brews (beer and coffee, but not at the same time), and voice overs.

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely go thru phases, but right now

Music - Keith Jarrett, Arvo Part, Eisley, Sucre

Movies - Hiyao Miyazaki films, Good Will Hunting, Happy Gilmore, Tommy Boy, Bernie, Take Me Home, Braveheart, LOTR, Chef, Someone Marry Barry, A Few Good Men.

Breaking Bad is top favorite. Orange is the New Black . I LOVE tv shows from my childhood like Perfect Strangers, Fresh Prince, Animaniacs, Saved by the Bell, etc. Family Guy. American Dad . Bob's Burgers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Koko Crater with my brother in Hawaii. I had to take a break at one point due to heat exhaustion and then a passerby started singing the Rocky theme, so I got up and finished the climb.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - I enjoy sharing my thoughts and techniques re: voice over, and if you want we could even record you doing a commercial for something.

Learn - I'm fascinated with people's life stories. Funny, uplifting, devastating - whatever people are willing to share, I'm eager and willing to listen!

Share - Working with kids taught me to enjoy the art of "play." So, I like video games, board games, outdoor games -- but not so much with sports.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Cayman Islands, Jamaica
