About Me

I'm a guy with slow temperament and a lots of ideas, dreams and plans. I like to give time for "useless" things in life, such as tasting foods and drinks (especially wines), just watching the landscape when I'm travelling, having a stroll in the nature or on the streets etc. However, I also like studying, talk with friends and new people, watching good films, taking part on lectures which match my interesting field etc. I think the most important thinks in life cannot be got by hurrying, but rather with being present mindfully. So I like to meet and talk to new people, and I'd like to do it more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've wanted to try out this kind of travelling and staying somewhere for a really long time. I think that being with locals is much more remaining (and more true) experinence than just visiting a place with a guidebook or something similar (even tough lots of the attractions suggested by a guidebook definitely worth to see). And, besides that, I like to get in touch with new people, where I'm living, or anywhere else.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot kinds of music, depending on my mood. I really like jazz music, in particular instrumental slow jazz, the sound of saxophone. But I also like lots of pop hits, when I'm on a party, and (mainly in the past, but till for now) demanding rock music. These are my favourites, but I'm opened to the most of genres.

As for movies, I mostly like those which are usually called "art films", and also good comedies (e.g. Welcome to the Land of Shtis).

My greatest reading was probably Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been living, breathing and changing the world with every moves I've made. I think, this is quite amazing. :)
