ABOUT ME

I'm not a huge fan of talking about myself, (How do you even begin to describe yourself in one of these things?) but I'll give it my best.

I love to travel (and now you're thinking, yeah who doesn't?) and meeting new people. I'm not a huge party person but I enjoy the company of others and going out every once in a while.

I went vegan about a year and a half ago and I don't regret it a single day. I always have a sweet tooth and so im always on the lookout for delicious vegan treats.

While traveling I'm always down for an adventure, but I enjoy just about everything as long as I'm experiencing someplace new, I'll always appreciate it. Hiking, museums, beaches, getting off the beaten path, and especially watching the sunsets are usually some of my favourite things to do while traveling.

Fun fact: Halloween is my favourite holiday and I've worked as an actor in a haunted house for the past three years. Its something I love telling people about even though it probably makes me look crazy.

I'm easygoing and a *little* ridiculous. I'd like to think I'm a very fun and adventurous person who tries to never take themselves too seriously.

PHILOSOPHY

Shit happens.

It's how you deal with it that defines you, I like the analogy of being like water, for when you hit an obstacle you just flow around it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently spending the 6 months traveling around Asia, because I don't want to be an adult and I'm running away from my responsibilities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted people when I lived both abroad and at home and I really loved being able to give back to this awesome community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was going to a meeting in Rome with a bunch of other CS members. I had a wonderful time. I met some great people and spent not only that night, but the next night with those people. It was a wonderful introduction into the CS world. While I was in Europe I couchsurfed a couple of times which always resulted in happy memories.

Interests

Interesting things? I don't know. I enjoy books (currently reading The New Jim Crow) and horror movies (recently saw Babadook and loved it). I love theatre and I'm currently *obsessed* with the Hamilton soundtrack. I love exploring new places and expanding my worldview. I enjoy meeting new people and like to think I'm pretty friendly. I love hiking and anything to do with the beach. Also, I'm really good at geography and navigation which is pretty lame to most people, but at least I always know where I'm going. Also animals, like I've come to tears because of a cute dog before I'm not joking.
