About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm really into travel and cultural exchange. What I find the most beautiful about traveling and seeing new places is experiencing how others live, and getting perspective on my own live back home. We are all in this world together, so I find it fascinating to see how existence varies by locale and culture. When I'm home I spend a lot of time attending language meetups where I practice languages with people from all over the world. It's a great way to learn while connecting with others and building relationships.
ABOUT ME
I'm a California native living in New York and traveling all around! I love to travel, meet new people and experience new cultures. I worked in tech and development in the US and East Africa, and then moved to New York where I've lived for over ten years. I enjoy learning history and languages and exploring New York, as well as basketball, reading, listening to music, and attending films, concerts and plays.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like different varieties...anything that speaks to my mood. Currently listening to Latin, Afrobeats, hip hop, and rhythm and blues.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a roadtrip from Boston to Washington DC for Obama's inauguration in January 2009. A great way to see a cross section of America on the way to inauguration...
I also stood in the cold for 12 hours on inauguration day. :D
