ABOUT ME

I'm a 26 year old guy from Germany. The last six years i was studying physics in Stuttgart. During that time i lived in two flat accommodations, worked at the university as lab-assistant, was training a badminton team and enjoying life. So i was nearly every months in other cities visiting my old friends and making new ones. After a long time in Stuttgart my plan is now to have a few months only dedicated to me before taking a job. And so i am looking forward to make many new experiences and meet nice people.

PHILOSOPHY

For now i'm seeking my own view on the world and enjoy my freedom to do what i want. I always expect the things to go well, i know, a bit naive but it worked for me so far. By meeting people from different places i try to get a feeling how life is there. Making my own world bigger by making the real world smaller.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a own flat, so my part in this will be surfing. For me couch surfing is not like hotels or hostels. The meet and greet thing. You rarely get to know the other persons there. In my case, i also go to hostels, but the people there are all travelers from many countries. For me is it more important to meet people and get to know them in their normal life, to get a feeling what life they have and discover their personal spirit. And the best way to do this is doing stuff together. I dont have a problem giving a helping hand and sharing fun and work...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my last flat accommodation in Stuttgart (straussi 1) we had several surfers on our couch. And i liked to meet interesting people that way and helping them at the same time. There weren't any problems at all. And due to the good experience i made with that guys, I'm gonna have a try myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

i usually like any film that has a story, and the more unusual it is the more i like it. (fightclub, the rocknrolla, run fat boy run..) also when the movie makes me laugh. Till my favorite music changes every half year or so, play it to me and i can say more. When the music fits my actual mood i will enjoy nearly everything.
So my parents never owned a TV i grew up reading every book i could get.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The moment when i arrived at the top of the kanisfluh (mountain in austria) and saw the landscape bevor me. But the most exiting thing is to arrive in a new place and discover it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a licensed badminton trainer, worked long time as tutor of all kind of school stuff and as mathe and physics tutor at the university. my studies were at the end about micro structure semiconductors. And i play guitar. So feel free to ask if i can help you...
