ABOUT ME
I am an American but I grew up in California and Nepal, went to college in the midwestern US, and then was a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal. It's hard to say where I consider "home" but I usually tell people Nepal.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I was once bitten by a snake in Senegal. I went to the local healer who said some prayers for me and gave me a drink that tasted like licorice. He told me that after drinking it, I would never have any more problems with snakes. Since then, all the snakes I've encountered have appeared asleep.
