ABOUT ME
I'm a third year student at Grove City College, Pennsylvania in the US. At school, I study mathematics, which as strange as it sounds, I actually do like.
Most of my life, though, has nothing to do with math. I enjoy spending time with family and hanging out with my friends. I like music and am trying to start my own vinyl collection (currently accepting donations!). I enjoy things that are funny, and things that can move me. I really like sports, my church, and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
What's better than traveling around, making friends from all cultures? I studied abroad in Nantes, France for one semester, and I met a ton of great people.
So far, I've only been a surfer. Someday, I hope to be host as well.
surfed with Nico in Brest
with Antonio in Bergamo
with Hilde and family in Norway
with Rory in Dublin
and with Ben in Edinburgh
Interests
I enjoy most kinds of sport. It's hard to watch football(soccer) in the US, but I love to play. Hockey is my favorite to follow, but I'm totally useless on skates.
I like listening to music, and I pretend to play acoustic guitar as well. I like to read plays. Discussing different cultures, too, I suppose.
It might take many years, but I'm interested in breaking out of my uni-lingual world. Also I have aspirations to someday become a semi-competent cook, a beer aficionado, and a great lover of poetry.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like indie music, whatever that means. Yeah, sometimes I'm snooty about it, too.
One of my favorite experiences was going 5 hours to see My Morning Jacket in Washington, DC, then driving back through the night because I had class the next morning.
Unfortunately, I've seen way more bad movies than good movies. Recommendations are always welcome.
When I have the time, I am partial to a good book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I repelled (or abseiled, depending on where you're from) 100m over a cliff, right next to the Sipi River Falls in Uganda.
