ABOUT ME

Pretty easygoing and easy to get along with. Fairly dependable and always wanting to go out as opposed to staying in. I'm really well read in history and literature. I also know a lot of obscure facts about unimportant things such as entire routines from Eddie Izzard performances.
I would rather blend into a city crowd than stand out as part of a travel group. It think it is fun to explore a city on your own and wander around and though I love old historical sites places where few tourists go are just as interesting. I'm also eager to get out and see the countryside, whether it be by foot, horseback, motorcycle or swimming off the coast of Wales.

I try to keep in shape and do have a black cat at home. They are luckier than you think.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really think about a personal philosophy I live by. I just try to keep from wasting the day.

I'm in a travel mode right now in prep for a big trip to the UK ending with Oktoberfest.

兴趣

I like flyfishing, riding my motorcycle and really appreciate good beer and single malt scotch. I love history and getting outdoors. I like to go out to drink to taste the beer and hear what you're saying over the music. I like to read British literature and history. Neil Gaiman is my current favorite author.

Lord of the Rings, Princess Bride, Ocean's Eleven Series, the new Italian Job, Mel Brooks, Most movies adapted from Neil Gaiman books, and most made from Comics. Anything done by MST3K or involving Bruce Campbell.

TV includes Top Gear, Dr. Who and how i met your mother (currently).

I read Dickens, Austen, just finished every Sherlock Holmes story ever written, American Gods, and books on British and North American history.

Music: Great Big Sea, Le Vent Du Nord, The Coors, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and a number of other bands.

The Turin Winter Olympics, my friend got a ticket Monday and I went to the Games on Friday during my stuy abroad in London. A great trip out of nowhere and capped off an amazing four months in England. If you ever get the chance to go to an Olympics, take it. It doesn't matter what you do you'll have a great time.

Found out that a few of these overlap. So if you don't know what you want already I do have the esoteric skill of being able to read a terrain feature map. Which comes in handy now and then if you happen to have a compass too. Lot of trivia too.
