ABOUT ME

Let's see. I'm a moderately seasoned traveller, and have been off the NA continent a total of two times, both to visit various locations in SEA and China. As for the country in which I live, I've been all over and seen all but the three northern territories .

BC is my home now, and Vancouver is the best little-big city in the West! I completed my BA at Simon Fraser U and have been employed as a cook for the entire 7 years I have lived there.

I've worked as a cook for 10+ years and food consumes me. I love it. My primary interest besides eating is the relationship between food, culture, symbolism, and social relations.

PHILOSOPHY

Yeesh. I live my life with a healthy foresight towards the future. Always progressing and aiming high. I function best and am the most happy when I am occupied with projects or activities. I always seek a full plate. I live, I die, for my milk money.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am capable and willing to participate in the day to day routine of any couch I find myself a guest on. Cleaning and cooking bother me not, and I maintain a high standard of cleanliness in my own daily routine.

In fact, if you happen to host me on your couch, I insist on cooking and participating in meals. I'm more than willing to share my knowledge in exchange for my hosts!

I am also a licensed driver with 12+ years of driving experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a few notable experiences couch surfing, and all have been positive. In fact, I'm doing it right now in Edmonton, AB with some friends that have hired me to act as housemaid/cook/driver.

At my home, many a traveller and friend have crashed on my couch. Most recently, two friends visited Vancouver from Edmonton and stayed at my place for 9 days while I was out of town.

I'm hoping to couch surf in a cool, safe, social environment. I enjoy meeting and networking with new people, and I'm not socially awkward! I swear!
