Hey! We're Peter and Amy and we've both left our jobs in the UK to travel the world together for the best part of a year. We've been travelling for 3 months now - we started in Brazil and backpacked our way around South America - visiting Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Peru. We also spent some time in Panama and we're currently in Costa Rica before we head to California for two weeks before we go on to Asia.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

This is our first time Couchsurfing and it will be our very first time in the USA...! We've always wanted to visit the States and discover all it has to offer but it's proving a little tough on a backpacker's budget! We'd love to couchsurf so we can meet people and have more of an authentic visit; we want to see all the touristy highlights but it would be great to discover more of LA or any hidden gems from a local...!

MUSIC:
We both love Bonobo - we've seen him loads of times but recently saw him in Buenos Aires which was amazing. We love all kinds of music though, from Jazz to Electronic. Amy's favourite gig would have to be seeing David Bowie. Pete's would have to be The XX in Copenhagen!

MOVIES:
Pete's favourite film would be a toss up between Lord of the Rings, Interstellar or The Departed.
Amy's would be Les Intouchables, The Usual Suspects or It's a Wonderful Life...

BOOKS:
We're currently reading On the Road by Jack Kerouac and The Power by Naomi Alderman.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Highlights have been doing the 4 day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, going on a 3 day 4x4 trip through the desert to reach the Salt Flats in Bolivia, eating the most delicious steak and wine in Buenos Aires, sand boarding in the Atacama desert in Peru, snorkelling with sharks in the San Blas islands and visiting the Puerito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia...there's been too many highlights to mention really!
