Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to have a couchsurfing account years ago when it first started and got to meet a couple of really great people through it. Im hoping to do the same as I travel the country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've used it a couple times and its been great. The first person that ever tried to stay on my couch though turned out to be a con artist. Couchsurfing emailed me shortly after the person asked to stay, and they informed me of who he was and that they were tracking him. I played it cool and two days later couchsurfing sent me an email saying he had been caught. I was really impressed at how on top of things couchsurfing was and that totally legitimized it for me.

I'm doing a 6 month tour coast to coast and would love to find some nice people I can stay with along the way :)
