ABOUT ME

I am a thirty-two year old researcher at Virginia Commonwealth University.

I love traveling, the outdoors, and anything that involves fitness. On top of that I am an avid reader of everything from science fiction to political thrillers. I consider myself an open minded and easy going person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Any chance to travel and meet new people sounds good to me, and not one I think needs much more explanation

Interests

I love to read and am also very big into fitness. I also enjoy food... a lot. I love animals and have two wonderful dogs with whom I spend a lot of my free time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Aside from country, I am open to all music. Most of the time I listen to punk, metal, and alternative, which were my staple genres growing up.

My favorite book series is probably the Dresden Files, with anything Tolkein a close second.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having spent some time in the military, I've gotten a chance to see some amazing places in the world including the pyramids at Giza, the old city in Jerusalem, and some of the greatest people on the earth in the Balkans. I don't know if these count as amazing, but they are experiences that have shaped who I am and who I hope to be in the future.
