About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figuring this life out (96% done, but it's logarithmic..)

ABOUT ME

Ok do I really have to? That's kinda harsh - publicly stating everything about me - that leaves no space for that mystery.

Ok just one fact: I sometimes behave counter-intuitively and contradictory to trick fate and to lead others into thinking im unpredictable, which is not true, my morals make me highly predictable. But well who wants to be boring?

More facts are on the homepage of my webpage: petergreen.ru

More facts are available in case a personal discussion takes place.

PHILOSOPHY

I grew up in a family of artists (1 half) and geographers (other half), so I developed tolerance and understanding of both sides of the picture: science and arts. So I enjoy to science like art, and I look at art from a scientific point.

My personal philosophy is in the works (duuh), but the most important thing that it has it roots in the current now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I never did cs before, so idk. I will help with groceries and cleaning! I can also fix something, like replace a bulb hahah no really.

What I can really promise to do - is to answer any question about life in general.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

Very broad. I love talking to (intelligent) people on lots of subjects, incl., but not limited to:
- Logic and philosophy, art, astronomy, physics, society, nature, psychology.. easier to say what I don't like to talk about: what most other people think and do and what problems someone might have.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ok I just read J.Fowles' "Collector" and i'm super happy I did. I love Remark, Hemingway,.., G.G.Markes, but I don't read as much as would want to :(

Movies: Pulp Fiction, Godfather, Inglorious Basterds, Fight Club, Rock'n'Rolla, Lost in Translation, 21 Grams, Vanilla Sky, Forrest Gump, Schindler's List, American Beauty, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Das Leben der Anderen

Music: Any style and genre, as long as they know what they're doing (and there's some melody - so no to death metal). Just to have one, my fav band was Live, before they broke apart a few years ago. Oh, Beatles are always #1. Naming any others would be biased, because there is an endless number of geniuses that take our ear and make magic with it. But I do have a special playlist for matching my musical taste with other people's. I love when it happens.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life would be so boring if there was that ONE amazing thing you had done. But I gotta admit, writing them all down would also help - like I don't remember anything right now.

I guess my idea of amazing is to big to say that i've done anything amazing :( Just lots of cool stuff.

Teach, Learn, Share

Oh well yeah, basic principles of existence and an answer to anything from a pretty materialistic point of view - I can share.

Anything from the spiritual world - I'm a rookie here - so I'd like to learn :) And anything else actually.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Russian Federation, United States
