About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy life - take opportunities, explore and have fun along the way.

ABOUT ME

I'm 34 and live with my girlfriend in Bristol, south west England.

I work for a football and rugby club in my home city and truth be told I love it - I support both clubs and the job's pretty much perfect.

I'm quite social, always want to visit new places but also appreciate the simple things in life. I'm interested in the world, the people, the culture and the views - even when they are different from mine. It's all fascinating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CouchSurfing eight years ago and been hosted by some amazing people in Europe and the US. I still have really close friends through CS and memories which will last forever.

I haven't surfed much in recent years for various reasons but am going to get back to it because it's a wonderful ethos and can turn dull nights alone in a hostel into great nights with awesome people.

Interests

Well I love travelling around and seeing new places. I'm into sport. I may not be that great at playing sports but I take in interest in most.

I'm vegetarian but not a particularly zealous or militant one. I've been veggie for years but all my mates and parents are meat-eaters so I have no problem with that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - very broad. A lot of rock and alternative but pretty much anything.

Books - not hugely into fiction. I like factual things.

Movies - realism. I'm not one for big Hollywood endings and special effects.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ah jeez...where to start? I've been lucky.

Dinner at the royal palace of Perlis in Malaysia, trekking in Patagonia to Everest Base Camp, Ankor Watt, the gorgeous historical cities of Europe. Dubrovnik and Florence deserve special mention.
