Even if I don't wear leather shorts and drink beer during my lunch break, I am probably still the most German guy you will ever meet.

I am always on time, study mechanical engineering and have got the DUMBEST German accent you've ever heard in your life. Of course I do like to travel but even more I love to get to know the people along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Here my honest couchsurfing story:

I opened my couchsurfing account a couple of years ago but I have never really used it. I don't know why but on all my travels I just went to hostels and I have never really considered that couchsurfing is such an epic opportunity to get to know some locals!

Shame on me, I have not hosted someone yet either... But all this WILL CHANGE NOW! In the last weeks I stayed coincidentally with a friend who hosted a lot of couch surfers and every experience I could share with these folks were absolutely cool and amazing. Therefore I wanted to try it myself now and I hope that you guys can help me to get started here and to be a part of this great community!!!

Interests

Like the majority of all people here I love to travel and to get to know new people, cultures, languages and traditions. This is from my point of view only possible if you travel solo and try to immerse yourself completely into another country. Epic adventures have of course to be a part of it as well!

Fitness and guitar are my two hobbies which help me to relax after hard day of work or studies. I started playing guitar last year, therefore I have got only amateur guitar skills.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kind of music and read a lot on travels. One of my favorite authors is Stephen King! This is for me the best literature to survive a long bus ride!

I passionately watch Netflix and all kind of series. In my opinion Breaking Bad, Dexter and Game of Thrones are the best of the best!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The probably most exciting, amazing and scary thing what I've done so far in my life was a vertical rappel into a 240m deep black hole in the heart of Mexico. To hang there in such a height with only one rope (no security rope!!!) and the lack of other people (3 local guides, no other amateurs) gave me the chills of my life!!!
