ABOUT ME

I grew up in a midwest college town playing a lot of music and doing all the things that bored, teenaged mid-westerners do. In college I studied engineering. For a while, I was dissatisfied and wanted to drop out of school and be a line cook. After about 5 months as a line cook, I gave up on that. In the end, I finished my degree and moved around the states a few times.

Later on, I was a Ph.D candidate for a while, doing research on circuits that harvest tiny amounts of energy from ambient vibrations. I came out to CA for a break a few years back and ended up staying. Enjoying the Bay Area and adjusting to adult life...

I'm want to take advantage of my opportunities and shoot for big things, but I'm trying find my stride and enjoy life, too. And I'm always trying to learn.
