ABOUT ME

I am businessman based in USA, Central Europe and China. My work primarily these days is in creating and assisting in the development of Non-Government Organizations and charity foundations.

Currently I am Chairman of the Supervisory Board of a Czech based charity, CHANCE FOR CHILDREN. We work primarily to assist orphans with food, clothing, educational programs, etc. in central Europe. We are well known for our ROBIN HOOD and DR CLOWN programs.

PHILOSOPHY

I maintain that it is only through our services to our fellow man can we humans ever fine fulfillment and happiness. The teachings of the ancient masters confirm this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a wide network of friends who I have hosted or have hosted me. I have no specific experience yet in CouchSurfing with persons that are new to me by meeting on CouchSurfing.

Interests

My favorite hobby are music and quality non-fiction writings. I play keyboards and was as a teenager a professional pop organist. Jazz and world music, and the works of Chopin, Brahams, Mozart and Beethoven are among my favorites in serious music. In popular music I am fond of George Gershwin and Jerome Kern.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had the honor and great privilege to meet His Holiness, the Dalai Lama in Prague, Czech Republic in the 1990s two times, and to see him again this year in Seattle, Washington, USA.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that life is one great university 24/7. When we stop learning by sharing, we really stop living........it is up to all of us to be open and to teach and to learn. It is a trusim that the best teachers are the best student.
