ABOUT ME

I guess I'm a fairly normal type of person - I have a job that I love that lets me take extended breaks when I want. At the time when all my friends are married and having kids, why is it that I'm still traveling the world? Because I enjoy it. Because there is always more to see, and more to experience.

PHILOSOPHY

If I knew my personal philosophy I'm not sure I'd write it down..... but suffice to say, I hope I never lose the sense of wonder, fun and hope I get when I see sunrise on a frosty morning, or an empty beach at dusk, or when I am surrounded by huge trees. The world is a great place.... but that's a little cheesy to be a personal philosophy!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a newbie here, and at the moment I am living out of a backpack in South East Asia - so that means meeting new people who actually live in the places I visit. Once I find somewhere to put my feet up, I look forward to contributing a comfortable couch to the CS Project.

Photography, snowboarding, hiking, anything remotely related to the beach, driving fast, running, surfing badly, flying my kites when my shoulder works, history in general, my nieces......

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Antarctica. That was just the best thing I have ever done, and the most amazing place I have ever been... and I'd like to go back.
