About Me
ABOUT ME
I love things that make me feel - most any kind of feeling. Here are some examples:
speaking french because of the way the syllables feel in my mouth.
going on runs through the woods because it makes me feel like anything is possible.
that feeling when you finish a workout and know every muscle in your body is going to hurt the next morning. That's a good one.
The glow that comes with spending time with family, sharing a bottle of good red wine with a friend, or seeing a good performance.
the stillness that comes when walking home during a snowfall at night.
I like connecting to life, and to those that make mine what it is.
PHILOSOPHY
The possible content of this box changes most everyday, however I suppose three of my favorite philosophies are as follows:
Be open and honest with yourself and others,
Things Chang,
and most importantly,
There's fun to be had and we should be having it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't participated in awhile - maybe I should start again!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only surfed a few times, but each was a positive experience.
Interests
France (language, culture, etc.) - I don't particularly understand where the love for this place and it's language came from, I just know that it's always been there, and that it's a place I hope to someday reside.
Singing Opera - Another passion whose origins in my life I can't explain. I just know I couldn't be doing anything else!
Tango, well-written books, food/wine, Chopin, traveling, boots/skirts/scarves, and learning. I love to learn!
