CURRENT MISSION

I just read my cs profile after some time and have to update it, as I am not the one I used to be. Traveling helped me understand many things about myself and now I try to continue getting to know myself even better even though I am staying put in Brno. I am planning to visit South America again this winter (2025).

ABOUT ME

I like to watch clouds.
I like to walk alone all day in nature.
I like to watch other people. How they speak, how they react, how they make faces, have fun at a party...
I like to don't know sometimes.
I like to do small things which make other people stop and be happier - to say to a lady she looks great today, smile and be polite to a bussy and tired cashier in supermarket, ...
I enjoy solitute as well as social events.

All above is true, but it was written a few years ago and I feel like I have to remind myself that this is me, and the sassy, negative, stressed people around won't impact me. I keep trying and this community is helping a lot. Thanks guys :-) Reviewed after 5 years and yes, it is still me :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
- The most amazing thing happened to me, when I was robbed in Chile. I didn't have passport, money or credit cards, no place to stay, had to wait for my embassy to help. I put public request explaining what happened and I spent almost a week surfing a place of someone really great, caring and with truly cs soul.
- In 2015 I hosted a guy in Iceland in staffhouse and I had to hide him, because my boss wouldn't allowed it. In 2019 I was hosted by the same guy in Canada at his staffaccomm and we was hiding me :-)
- It is 2025 I finally did a solo trip to Spain, walked Camino for a few days and connected with this side of me again and have the profile active again.

Interests

I love multiday trekking (did many famous shorter walk - TMB, Kalalau, Torres del Paine, Laugavegur, WHW, ...), hiking, wandering, I do rock climbing, but I am not good and still scared to lead, I like dancing. Lately I am getting into granny hobbies and have a little garden and do little diy projects.

Please, when we meet, remind me that I want to take a photo with you. Please :-) I have met so many nice people and I always forget to do it.

Music, Movies, and Books

HP fan as every proper millenial. I love Hunt for the Wilderpeople and similar movies. As for book, I wish I read more, but it is hard for me to choose a book. I usually read what I found in hostels and I already found really nice books there - The Kiterunner, The Pillars of the Earth, Three Views of Crystal Water, but what really sums up my beliefs and personal setting is Jitterbug Perfume. I enjoy many styles of music, Tom Rosenthal, Gregory Alan Isakov, El Kanka, Billy Thorpe, Kaleo, balcan music, my "always" is Nirvana, SOAD... I love life gigs! To go to hear a small local band and have a beer is my favourite plan for night.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had all those things they say you should have. I studied university, had a good job, a solid boyfriend, a car, a huge house...I quit my job in December 2014, packed all my stuff to boxes, moved them to an attic in a house of my friend and started a backpacker's life. Since then I am really happy.

Let´s move forward to 2025 - I am still happy, but feel like done all those outside adventures and now I turned the attention inward and found out there are even more adventures in my unconscious mind :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to learn anything I don´t know yet. I will try not to be a scared and go for it. I like to listen to opinions and different point of views of other people.
I play piano, I can teach you some nice Czech words, I can give you travel tip for countries I have already traveled.
