I'm starting a new chapter in life by traveling the world with my boyfriend, Derek. I lived in big cities, small suburbs and everything in between. I'm very much a home body but now I want to get out of my comfort zone and explore new sceneries and meet new friends.

I finished school with a BA in Criminology, my main interest is to get into the human trafficking especially in relations to children. During our travels across the globe, I plan to visit several organizations that specialized in this field. We want to be able to help in whichever way possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to meet locals that knows their town with recommendations that we wouldn't find in a travel guide. Couch surfing is perfect to opportunities to share travel stories and great food.

In the near future, we have plans to open a bed and breakfast of our own. We want to explore other cultures to collect and learn new ideas about the operations, people interactions and inviting friends that hosted us to eventually come stay with us in exchange for their generosities.

In addition, travel will help us venture out and seek more ingredients for new recipes we want to create.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've started a Jewelry Design Business on ETSY. The profit from the jewelry will go towards a fundraising campaign to raise money and build a school in third world countries, currently looking at the outskirts of Borneo.

I will dedicate the school to my Mother because of my gratitude of how much she pushed for me to finish school. I want her to know that because of her love and hard work for putting me through school, I will build this new school so that the children there can have the opportunity to have an education and change the course of their lives. I want her to know that because of her love, those children will now have a better future.
