ABOUT ME

I am a simple person, in love with travels and animals, open and interested in meeting new people, exploring new cultures and places, especially natural beauties of the country I am visiting. I work in Youth Department of National Agency for Erasmus + in Croatia, and I am mostly engaged in promotion of active youth participation. In my spare time, I really like to cook, hike and pick mushrooms, but even if you invite me on a good concert, cultural event or drinking a glass of fine wine while counting the starts and discussing about the beginning of Universe, I won't refuse your invitation ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been couchsurfing and I really enjoyed it! I hosted a few people over a night or two...and mostly they were really nice people :) I think this is a great way to get to know and experience the most important thing about every place you go - the people who live there. They create the unique feeling you get about every city you go, and without meeting the locals, I really doubt you can say you felt the soul of the place you've been to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many of my friends are active couchsurfers...they are traveling a lot, but they are also hosting a lot. Thanks to them, I had a chance to meet many really interesting people, open enough to open their home to a person they see for the first time, but also to meet people brave enough to open their heart to a stranger they've never seen before. It was quite amazing for me to realize that sometimes you can enjoy your time more with the person that you know just for 24 hours, than with somebody that you actually know for your whole life. Because of them, I decided to join Couchsurfing, and for now I haven't regret it :D

It is my favorite band for years, but I really enjoy a lot of different music...especially interested in world music such as Rokia Traore and Tinariwen, but I also really love different types of rock and instrumentals such as God is an Astronaut, Explosions in the Sky, Hammock and Paint the Sky Red.
