About Me
I like traveling a lot, Holiday is my favourite word. The only problem with this is that I'm scared of flying. :D
I like meeting new people, getting to know different cultures and opinions. I'm trying to broaden my horizons and getting out of my comfort zone. When I travel I like to eat what locals eat and do what they do. I have some crazy stories of hitchiking. :)
I'm open-minded and tolerant. Sometimes I'm a little bit quiet, but I'm a good listener. I love animals and nature. I love outdoor sports like hiking, see cayaking, canoeing, riding a bike. Nothing really extreme, but close to nature.
I like being with friends, eating good food, listening to a nice concert or chilling with a book in a hammock. Simple things of life. :)
I live with my husband. He's a chemist and he plays ultimate frisbee. We've been together since 2007 and we got married in 2018.
IMPORTANT: I'm not hosting anyone. Most probably I won't host you if your profile is not full, you don't have hosting experience or at least some positive references. Please put some effort into convincing me why should I host you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a great way to meet the world in your home. There are so many nice people and interesting stories!
Meeting couchsurfers: Right now I prefer meeting surfers for a drink or sightseeing than hosting.
Hosting: I met a lot of exciting people from all around the world and I've realized how many different ways you can live your life. At moment I don't really feel like hosting, but you can always try. :) On weekends I'm very likely to be out of the city, so you have more chance on weekdays.
Surfing:
I surfed for the first time, in Croatia. It was amazing, we were spoiled by Petar, our host. I go quite often to Croatia for holiday, but this time it was a totally different experience. I loved to see how my host and his family live and think. Then I surfed in Italy two times at wonderful multicultural families.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Even though I'm afraid of flying I tried parasailing on a Croatian island, Brac. It was fantastic to see that deep blue water, the mountains, tiny people on the beach, up in the sky with someone I love. And it wasn't scary at all. :)
