About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find a new mission.....?

ABOUT ME

I am 29. I fear commitment-- mostly that of a geographical sort--though at present I have been living in Australia for longer than initially anticipated. I am curious about anything and everything. I am from the U.S. (which I always feel the need to apologise after admitting); from a state and town that few have ever heard of ( I am a HOOSIER). I speak Spanish like a Dominican courtesy of living for years in Miami. I can curse you in Serbian and Swedish. I like art, I play flute. I have my 'own form' of organisation. I have no idea what I am doing with my life, but as my Harvard Bartending Diploma in 'Mixology' is working better than my Masters in Human Rights in a waning global economy; I figure it's about time I return once again to studendom. I can be wild and animated, or quiet and withdrawn. I love to write or read that which is well written. I do not like fiction literature...except for Herman Hesse. We all like 'music'--so let's skip that. I ride a bike--which I consider transport--not exercise (thank you, Swede-land). Traveling and meeting new people is a high for me--however--I am definitely a bit of a loner. I like the cold in small doses. And the only pet I've managed to have for any length of time is a 'rhubarb'. TA-DAH.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently living in Melbourne, Australia. I came here planning to stay a few months. Somehow, I am still here 1 year and a few months later. I am planning to begin another Master's programme here-- so I am more than willing to show people around, meet, or host (as long as I still have a home here).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done couch surfing in several different countries-- and all hosts were accommodating. Greece was above and beyond all expectations!

Herman Hess is the main fiction I have ever even read-- and thoroughly enjoyed. Music-- anything from Akala to Bring me the Horizon to Tchaikovsky.
