ABOUT ME

I am an avid traveler, animal-lover, photographer, reader, theatergoer, television-watcher, and wanderer.

I've been lucky enough to spend an academic year studying in Lancaster, England, where I met so many wonderful people and did a lot of traveling around Europe. Thus began my CouchSurfing adventures!

As a grand finale for my undergraduate studies, I spent 10 weeks interning with Sea Turtles 911 in rural China. It was an amazing experience and I topped it off with 4 weeks traveling Southeast Asia, an adventure that made my love of travel even stronger!

This past summer I worked as a research assistant in Kruger National Park, South Africa. We studied buffalo and basically went on game drives daily -- living the dream!

I'm currently on an extended travel adventure that will take me alllll the way around the globe til I reach Californian shores again. I'll be spending most of my time in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa. Hopefully it all works out eh?

I love learning about anything really; I find most things quite fascinating.

I like to cook and bake, so I would love to learn new recipes or share some of my own! Vegetarian and vegan cooking are my favorite!

I know oodles about sea turtles now that I've interned with Sea Turtles 911. I'm a fairly good resource on most animal life if you're interested!
