ABOUT ME

I am curious and nosy person who likes a good laugh. I like to try out new hobbies, make irrealistic plans for the future and go crazy every now and then.
I really enjoy meeting people from all around the world. I love to learn about different cultures and really get to know people. I try to travel as much as my work and wallet let me, but eve since settling down and starting a family, this is not easily possible anymore.

Since my trip to Spain, I also believe that everything happens for a reason, even if I don't understand the reason just yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now I have hosted a couple of people, met few, and did a Couchsurfing trip arount the UK. Since I moved to a very remote loacion in Slovenia with my family, I don't really host anymore, as our housing situation does not permit it at the moment. I do hope this changes in the future though!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I love meeting new people, so far all CS experiences have been great. I had fun talking to travelers, showing them around or actually making friends. My life changed quite a lot since my student years (that was when I joined Couch Surfing) so now I barely get any chances to surf or host. But when I do get one, I try to take advantage of it.

Interests

I studied biotechnology, so anything conected to it and science in general is my huge interest. I also like cooking, and even more eating good food. When I have time, I like to go jogging or for a walk, but I also like spending a whole afternoon watching TV shows every now and then. I'm learning to sew, I like to dance and I olny sing when I've had too much to drink.
I'm a hobby cake decorator, and a big lover of hand made cosmetics. I make soaps, lotions, moisturizers, you name it! Making skincare has turned into a profession for me and I am so grateful for this!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked the way of St. James in Spain (Camino de Santiago). One month walking trip in Span is such an incredible experience, I will never regret I did it and I definitely want to do it again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not really sure about my special skills. I could teach you some basic ballet moves :) Or tell you something about the amazing world of genetics:) Maybe do a little course on cake decorating or soapmaking?
