ABOUT ME

Bear with me... this is cheesy but it´s honest. Really easygoing guy, manage to get on with nearly everyone i meet, and enjoy socialising with people from all different backgrounds. Looking to improve my travelling experience by staying with more locals, or at least other travellers that are more immersed in the local culture than the gringo trail allows (i´m picking up spanish as fast as i can to help myself achive this). Enjoy meeting new people and chilling out over a few drinks, i pride myself in being interested in other peoples opinions and learning new points of view.

PHILOSOPHY

not religous but when i was a kid the one lesson that stuck with me was to treat people like you wish to be treated. (hint: i like to be treated well). i care about the world and try to do my best not to polute/use unnessecary resources and i try to change the world for the better but i also think its important to enjoy life as much as possible given each persons situation. always look on the bright side.

While travelling the benefits are probably slanted to me, but you will probably be gald you met me! when i return to London i will definatly be a host and i can´t wait to show others around and help them discover the gems that make london special.

Intereses

Big fan of the obvious things like film and music. I play the drums, it´s been a couple of years so i´m a bit rusty but i can drop a few beats still. enjoy outdoor activities which has been great in south america, i´ve rappeled, rafted, cycled, caved, skied, jet-skied, hiked, sandboarded and plan to paraglide over Rio de Janerio to top it off. i like playing most sport and watch the big events, favorite game is basketball but to be honest i´m not that great! Love nights out whether at bars or clubs.

Música, películas y libros

I listen to literally all music, favorite band being Red Hot Chili Peppers, also Kanye West (i know he´s a bit of a douche, but he´s talented). probably my favorite genre is rock.. quickly getting into salsa though!
I´m a huge film fan and my last job involved 12hr night shifts where i could get 3-4 films in each night (and get paid!). my weakest genre is horror as i didn´t like watching them by myslef but in a group i should be ok.
My favorite books are Sebastian Faulks - Human Traces and Audrey Niffeger - The Time Travellers Wife (crap fim). Also love the Harry Potter books, read them many times... the films were very average compared. Currently reading 1984 by George Orwell.

Algo increíble que he hecho

recently got hit by the ash cloud (we were in bariloche when it hit), that was crazy. all the outdoor activities i listed above were pretty awesome, most of them were my first time. machu pichu was amazing, even better because i had a great group of people that we trekked with. recently got tear gassed while at a peacful protest, it hurt like a bitch but it was a good exprience (i have great footage if you want to see it!).
