Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couch surfed a couple of times whilst travelling on my own in South Korea in the summer of 2012 and just really enjoyed being around people who knew the place. I then saw Couchsurfing as a way of making friends and getting to know Salvador (Brazil) when I moved there. I then had the same idea for when I moved to Chengdu in China (Feb 2014) and I have just moved to Qingdao (Aug 2017) where I hope to meet local people through Couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This answer was for another question which I think most have been Favourite Place......."Anywhere where I can take in a view. The view from a gulag looking down onto Lake Baikal as well as the view from one of the peaks above Machu Picchu onto the ruins are two images that come to mind."
