ABOUT ME

I am 26 years old and live in San Diego, California. I love to go to the beach, hangout with friends, go camping, and just take it easy. I have recently decided to dedicate my life to traveling and having new and fun adventures. I have definately stepped out of my box.

PHILOSOPHY

I think the key to life is being relaxed and taking one day at a time. There is no need to sweat the small stuff, you can get through anything.

As of right now I have not done anything to participate in the project yet, but I am hoping that changes soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have recently been a couch surfer and I found it to be one of the most interesting and amazing experiences. I spent nearly a week on someone's couch in Brooklyn, New York and about the same amount of time in Dublin, Ireland. Both sets of hosts were extremely gracious and welcoming, it is so nice to know that there are so many great people out there.

Interests

I love going to concerts/listening to music. I enjoy having a pint of beer with my friends. Going to the beach and taking a nap in the sand. Traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is the Blues Brothers. I also love the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Mary Poppins, Super Troopers and Office Space. I enjoy the Beatles, The Who, Pearl Jam, Oingo Boingo, The Pretenders, Heart, The White Stripes, The Noisettes, and many more. If you have not read THE KITE RUNNER and A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS you must go and get them right now and start reading them (I very highly recommend them).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have finished a marathon. I ran in the 2006 Maui Marathon, it was quite an experience.

Enjoy the time that you get to spend with your couch surfing host/s, they are probably some of the most interesting and fun people that you will ever meet. Learn from their couch surfing experiences so that you can make yours great. Hangout with your hosts, experience a little of the place that you are visiting from their perspective, but also feel free to branch out on your own and discover things for yourself.
