COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing epxperiences started (and still go on) without the help of the cs-homepage, just by meeting the people and got/have sleeping place of or for them. Im still very thankful for my first experiences and enjoy that these experiences with people staying at my sofa go on (spontaneously).
So first I hosted a really nice guy from the netherlands who knew some friends of me. I showed him Freiburg city and had some Flammkuchen with him. unfortunatelly i had to leave in the evening but i think he had a good talk with my nice flat mates and some nice time in Freiburg :)
On another day I was lucky to spend totally spontaneously a night in oldenburg on the couch of a really nice world-traveling-guy, which i just met that evening in front of the train while realising that i will not make it back to my flat in the Netherlands anymore that day. He helped me out, showed me oldenburg at night, and saved me from sleeping at the train station :D So i was and am still really grateful :)
