About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Seeking education outside of a classroom, and succeeding in enriching my life through travel. I'm currently driving through the west with my boyfriend John Henry in my trusty Subaru Legacy, enjoying a few weeks of being unemployed before moving to Alaska to work at a ski area.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a big town, and have a passion for the natural world. I appreciate the beauties and challenges of both these settings, and enjoy interacting with both people and landscapes. Traveling has proved to be the most effective way for me to learn and be compassionate!
PHILOSOPHY
I would love to leave the world a better place than when I arrived, whether thats through positive vibes, or environmental awareness. I know that's cliche, so what?

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't watch a lot of TV, but I can feel entertained by many types of media. I haven't read much for pleasure since I started college, but I hope to change that someday soon. I enjoy books that I can learn from.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 15 years old I traveled with my adopted brother to where he grew up in Mongolia. Having the chance to see with my own eyes the contrast between my life and a truly hard existence taught me more about life than I could have ever hoped to learn in a classroom. It taught me how to be grateful more often than not.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning and hearing stories from other travelers. In general I learn that, with a little common sense, you can always have a good experience traveling and meeting complete strangers. The positive vibes are contagious! There are truly wonderful people out there, and interacting with them by chance can turn into fascinating stories, and fulfilling friendships.
