Experience all the little things.
I'm an aspiring environmental biologist but some days I doodle business plans on napkins for a cafe that I dream of opening. I'm a bit of an athlete, a frequent vegetarian, and a constant thinker. My special skills include being the right amount of sarcastic in appropriate situations and being able to fall asleep anywhere in most positions. The sun inspires, motivates, and recharges me. I find wonder in the smallest of details.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first CS experience was at a small bar in Perth, which then led to a spontaneous road trip with four random guys to Margaret River. The very next day I was homeless and was showered with love and taken in by hosts of the CS community.
I'm on CS because I love the idea of people's lives intersecting all around the world. You create the most unique relationships and those relationships are the backbone to a good travelling experience. Somehow with CS, I always feel like I'm in the right place at the right time.
I keep binoculars on my window sill to follow the hummingbirds living in the tree outside my house. Recently the neighbours have started to look at me funny.
I go camping in cold places only to spend most of the time inside my tent complaining about how cold it is (but loving every moment of it). Otherwise, you'll find me snowboarding, taking photos, reading, learning languages, singing in the shower, reading, or googling "golden retriever puppies".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sitting on the beach in Hong Kong in my bikini, soaking up the warm tropical rain with my best friend after 2 months of backpacking around China together. All I remember is laughing wholeheartedly while everyone else ran for shelter.
Teach, Learn, Share
My dad gives me the best life advice ever. You'll want to hear them.
I know the best spots in Vancouver where you can experience the least amount of tourists but the true feel of the city. I'd like to have that same experience in other cities.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd like to think I'm pretty good company. I know when to be engaged and when to leave my hosts alone. I'm clean, respectful, LGBT-friendly, and easy going.
I enjoy sharing experiences and food. My dad taught me that sharing food is the best way to make friends so I'm happy to cook or give you half my chocolate bar.
