ABOUT ME

I am an adventurer and an entrepreneur with an eternal commitment to self improvement. Born in Ukraine, and immigrated to US at age of 10, I changed my name to "Allan Grant" as a statement of my dream of becoming a world-changing entrepreneur. My life vision is to create value for the world through enterprise, and then create sustainable philanthropic ventures from my profits. My dream is to once day become a space entrepreneur. On my path, I face the most amazing and challenging experiences, see remote places, meet incredible people, and enjoy everything life has to offer. Often I feel like I'm the luckiest person alive.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to experience, learn, create, and redefine myself. I strive to be productive, intelligent, fearless, and strong. I'm an act utilitarian, a capitalist, and a free thinker. I want to be a force of good in the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Immediately following the "perfect storm" and destruction of CouchSurfing 1.0, I spent three days at the first CouchSurfing collective helping create the vision of a collaborative organization (my long-time dream of "community-driven development") while Casey was recovering the code from the crash. Now, I host people as often as I can, showing CouchSurfers the best local parties. When I travel, I often contact CouchSurfers to find out where to party in their cities.
