I'm a student of communication and my passion is travelling! Whenever I can, I try to get away and get to know something new and different.

Before I started university I was doing an apprenticeship in a hotel and I really liked being in contact with so many different people. This work also gave me the opportunity to work and live in different places and countries.
I am originally from Germany but I am currently studying in Turin, Italy (including an Erasmus semester in Vilnius, Lithuania).

I think that languages are the key to the people's mind. If you understand how their language works, you can understand their way of thinking. Learning languages can give us the opportunity to dive into a different culture, it can widen our horizon and even give us a new view of the world.

I am new to couchsurfing but I am very excited about this! I think it is a great idea to share and enrich the world :)

Travelling is not only about what you see and what you visit, it's also about the stories you collect and the people you meet. I want to get in touch with locals and get an insight into their way of life with their values and beliefs. In the best of the cases, I will get back home after having made some more new friends.
